Prayer does change things.
Especially sacrificial, earnest, servant-hearted prayer.
Some of the predictions about a New Or hurricane a year or so ago mentioned God's displeasure with the voodoo in the area as well as a lot of other demonic forces facilitating routine goings on there.
What do I know. Never been there and never studied much about the area.
Who said that and based on what data?
It's good to know that, when natural disasters strike, there will be someone, somewhere, who will gleefully inform the victims that they had it coming.
Especially sacrificial, earnest, servant-hearted prayer.
I have never understood this. Why would God "answer" prayers for New Orleans and send devastation to Mississippi?
If you believe in an omniscient God...how can He change his mind?
Did he know ahead of time that he would change his mind?
Then He didn't change his mind!!
"Some of the predictions about a New Or hurricane a year or so ago mentioned God's displeasure with the voodoo in the area as well as a lot of other demonic forces facilitating routine goings on there."
Would this sort of action be the mark of a good deity?
