That's why it's surprising to me that they aren't mentioning the specific plagues that usually accompany these conditions.

CNN just gave instructions for boiling or adding bleach to water and to avoid trusting public water mains due to contamination. Then they warned about carbon monoxide poisoning hazards from portable generators.

Looks like they're getting in gear on public health instructions. About time!

What good will those instructions do for people who do not have electricity, gas, or running water.

They do not even have TV to hear/see them!
