Although CNN is CREAMING FOX and MSNBC and the worthless CBS,NBC,ABC networks....Jack Cafferty just took a major cheap shot on-air with Wolf Blitzer.
He asked Wolf "Where is President Bush? Is he still on vacation during this disaster?" Wolf answered him and said he returns to D.C. tomorrow.
Cafferty said " Ahhh that's nice of him to come back to work in the middle of a national tragedy...and leave his month long vacation"
Wolf said zero in response. This was the ultimate in cheap shots because anyone with a brain knows that Bush can't go there right now. The Secret Service could not protect him and there is zip he can do personally being there as chaos and rescue operations are going on.
He has organized one of the biggest domestic relief operations with the pentagon in history.
What more does Cafferty want? Asswipe...
And Rita on MSNBC is in Aruba
He looks sorta like that guy that asked President Bush who the ;eader of Romania was and all those other hard to pronounce names back in 2000 during the campaign. Then everybody got to say how stupid W was. That's not him, is it?
NEW YORK -- Like most journalists, CNN morning anchor Jack Cafferty would prefer to cover news than make it. Especially when it's bad news.
But Tuesday, Cafferty was the story, being met by photographers as he entered a midtown court to plead guilty in a May 14 hit-and-run accident. According to the criminal complaint, Cafferty was made an abrupt turn and hit bicyclist Billy Maldonado.
About five people tried to stop Cafferty by running after the car, according to the complaint, but the newsman continued through at least two red lights, while dragging the bicycle underneath the vehicle. Maldonado, 48, who was knocked to the ground, suffered bruises and some bone damage. Cafferty was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, assault and harassment. He was allowed to plead guilty to a traffic violation: Operating a motor vehicle knowing or having cause to know property damage had been caused. He was sentenced to 70 hours of community service, with six months to complete it, and a $250 fine. He also made restitution.
Cafferty had no comment Tuesday but the criminal complaint said Cafferty told police he saw the bicyclist get off the ground but didn't realize he had hit him. "I am unaware I was in an accident," he said.
Attorney Suzanne Holzberg, who represents Maldonado, expressed disappointment over the proceedings. "I think he got off pretty easy," she said. Maldonado, she said, still needs an operation on his right elbow.
My email to the creep. wager it will never be read by him. (:>)
"Hey you piece of fecal matter,
Caught your smirking snide remarks about the president. One can always depend on liberal arseholes such as you to politicize death and destruction in trying to score cheap shots. You did not mention that before the storm struck, it was President who had to urge the LA democratic state and local government to evacuate New Orleans, which they failed miserably to do.
Also I note you had no kind words for Operation Blessing, one of the major relief groups who are on the front lines in the destroyed area. Would not be because it is Pat Robertson's (whom you love to hate) charity organization?
Where is Hollyweird and their ilk, what are they doing to help?
You are a sicko, disgusting and worthless individual, perhaps you and your gal friend Cindy can go down to the Gulf Coast and dance on coffins down there, as that appears to be the only gigs you are both capable of."
Add me to that list. I saw the name and tried to remember what state he was a congressman from.
Yup, get your ratings up by broadcasting a tragedy 24/7, and then slip in the liberal talking points while you've got an audience full of half asleep drones. Typical CNN. Never watch em, never will. They are too predictable.
"CNN has won and is winning the coverage war of this hurricane...24-7"
You can only report the same old stuff over and over again until it gets old. That's not "winning the coverage war." That's oversaturation. That's CNN.
I didn't know who he was either.
What is this "CMM IS CREAMING FOX",,,in what? Telling Lies, Distorting the Truth! I reject the premis.
Cafferty said " Ahhh that's nice of him to come back to work in the middle of a national tragedy...and leave his month long vacation"
You know---this always burns my @$$---every president takes the month of August for vacation---can we forget the Clintoons dancing on the beach at Martha's Vineyard?--anyway---is the president ever not working?? When you are the President of the United States you are on 24/7!!!
I didn't dislike him either, back then.
But, I did hear him practically sneer when he asked 'where Pres. Bush was", this afternoon.
Don't know what happened to Cafferty.
His job is up. The guys gotten more shrill. Only explanation, he's a nobody--no name recognition, no skill. He has to do something to keep his job. Only after seeing the picture did recognize seeing the guy on air at CNN.
You've got to turn off CNN---you'll live longer.
Anchors CNN, "In the Money", and Yes Cafferty, you weasel, I will be emailing you, you little twirp.
Oh, Thank you for enlightening me. I don't listen nor watch CNN.
"Who in hell is Jack Cafferty?"
He's just ONE reason I don't watch CNN. I was flipping through the channels when I saw this. The tone was so disrespectful that even Wolf sounded surprised.
jackcafferty...jackcassferty...jackassferty...jackassfarty...jackassfart---that's who he is.
Actually llevrok told me who this character is.
I put CNN on my parental control cable lock because this channel is so obscene!
Usually , I do not watch CNN either, but was interesting in aerial shots of New Orleans and Mississippi damage, when Cafferty started acting like a big fat loser.
