On another note, reading that New york time article for tomorrow relating to how the local papers when they couldnt publish in nola they went to the web is fascinating . I have to say thAT the New Orleans paper did a pretty decent job doing that and kept me informed. It was amazing but cnn just seemed to ignore and stuff that they breathlessly reported as breaking was on there for hours or not reported at all. KInda of neat even in the worse situations how news is evovling.
The scale of this disaster is amazing, there are so many problems: Evacuation, Refugee Housing, Food & Water, Medical, Civil Engineering, Transportation, Alternate Export Routing, the Political Crisis which will develop, etc.
It is clearly beyond the capacity of the Louisiana government - but probably not beyond FR.
CNN is now reporting the folks in the Dome will be moved to Houston, Texas and kept at the Astro Dome
