Bourbon street is listed at 2.5 below sea level. Lake P's normal level is 1 foot above sea level and someone said it is 4" above that. Time will tell.
From a graphic I saw at www.nola.com, Bourbon street is actually 2.5 fee ABOVE sea level. It is in an area that gradually slopes up to the river levees.

You're right, I misread it. By rights, there shouldn't be any water there. I wonder if there is?
