The airlines indeed deserve some blame, they pulled out way too soon.
Could you believe that? She was griping about cancelled flights, saying airlines should have flown in empty planes and flown people out?

The airlines are running on cash-flow fumes, and you want airline operations to dig up some assets at the last minute, fly them into New Orleans, and take people out, basically for free?
