Bush is taking over the country! Bush is taking over the country!
First the pumps, next the borders (I wish).
They are bound to be seeing the bodies; and I just do not know why, unless their editors have heard from the government asking them not to number the dead until they are more certain.
lol, sorry. :<
CNN: Do you have a deep enough bench with all the deployments to Iraq?
Answer: Yes. As of late this morning, 60-65% of the LA and Mississippi memebers of the Guard are available for state active duty.
Hah! That'll kill the left's argument this is out of control because of the war in Iraq.
Officials said 60% of the LA members of the state guard are available for duty here, and they are using 11000 of them under the control of the governor.
I hope the looters don't get there first.
Me too. But it just seems like doing this for only 2 weeks is like putting a Band-Aid on a bullet wound.
I'm glad you took my comment as the humor that was intended :) Yes, we must not lose sight of what's coming next. Sheesh!
Just wait; this could be the first move to get around the "no more refineries" people.
You KNOW that has to be coming.
It's a bit odd, TD 13 isn't new; they just stopped advisories for several days. It actually was new roughly around when Katrina was around Florida.
Zero chance of hitting the US of course.
91L and 92L are far too far from the US to make a judgement regarding whether they would hit.
Secretary Chertoff is doing an excellent job.
HAHAHAHA!
Chertoff to Gregory: "This shouldn't be news because it's in a plan that has been public for months.!"
Yes, sir, the boys are back in town.
Wanna bet? If you win...you get a Chicago style pizza...I win....I get real southern style (the yankee version sucks BTW) biscuits and gravy.
It also depends on exactly where in Chicagoland that gas station was. There are some places that, for whatever reason (there are, IIRC, local gas taxes in Illinois, and gas is also subject to varying local sales taxes there), are always $0.10-$0.20/gallon higher than the rest of the area.
"It IS coming together, isn't it?"
Yes, it sure seems like it. These folks give a strong sense of KNOWING what they are about. They are competent, and know how to work a problem, on as many levels as necessary.

This "National Response Plan" sounds like a good thing to me, and I am SO glad to see Chertoff up there implementing it.
He will kick their butts from here to Crawford.
No it won't! You know liberals are deaf and blind to facts. They believe what they want to believe.
I haven't been able to keep up with all of the posts--have all of the Freepers in the affected areas been heard from? I'm sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere.
