I for one was planning a trip to New Orleans later this year.
I am more determined than ever to take it. Laissez les bon temps rouler!

"I for one was planning a trip to New Orleans later this year."
My son's college graduation present was a trip anywhere he wanted, and - to my surprise - he decided to tour the South by car. Started in South Carolina [flew there from Seattle] and ended up in New Orleans. Glad he got to see NO before the devastation.

Hell, I'm planning on buying cajungirl a drink when I make it to NO again.
We go to NO at least once a year....we missed our last trip because our "little souvenir" from the PREVIOUS trip was only three motnhs old!

I am more determined than ever to take it. Laissez les bon temps rouler! Great news! Hope it's closer to the end of the year, though. It will take months to get cleaned up. I've been wanting to go back for years, now. Spent two days there ten years ago and loved it.
