I know Eric personally.

What he is trying to say in this piece is that all this caravan did was give more attention to Sheehan. He thinks that if there had been no caravan, the media would have not focused it's attention on Sheehan and the story would have died out.

I personally disagree with him on this issue, but I wanted you to understand where he is coming from.

I'm sorry, he is wrong. Cindy and troops are just getting started and "The Crawford Surrender House" was just the launching pad. Cindy is now a celebrity and anywhere she goes and everything she says will necessitate media coverage.

On the other side, the right is now energized to meet Cindy anytime anywhere.

Wait until Galloway and Fonda get their groove on...with Cindy out in front.

While everyone is entitled to their opinion - Eric clearly has missed the boat with this one.

Had we NOT gone to Crawford, the MSM then would have used that in some way - asking where is the support we hear so often about from the right? Why aren't they here?

We had no choice but to go and stand in the face of the evil destroying America. Ignoring it won't make it go away, only standing up and continuously rebutting every word said by the Left is the only chance we have.

We have teachers in the H.S. and College levels teaching hatred and intolerance to the upcoming generations - masking it as 'peace movements', we have the MSM at every turn telling the American public 'no one supports this war', and we have idiots like the preacher in Kansas who attends the funerals of these soldiers when they come home - using that time as a protest against the war, often times sending hate messages to the parents.

We HAVE to stand up EVERY TIME.

This time, we have no choice.
