You guys, I want to know this...Am I hearing right? The city will be ok right? I mean, they are talking as if it will be---gone.

Tell me I'm hearing wrong. Tell me they're exagerating.

I think they're exagerating. But that's just my opinion.

Cat 5. Direct Hit to NO means the city is gone. I think the levees will break.

The people who come up with plans on levees have said that they are going to let levees break on their own accord and let the Mississippi reclaim certain areas throughout the US.

I dont know the plan for NO if it is wiped out. I hope Shep is getting out of the French quarter.

No, queenkathy, they are not.
That is the problem.
Everyone thought this was media hype and there was no action.
Long story short, anything that could have slowed it, weakened it, turned it, never came to fruition.

If the flooding happens as being prdicted now the aftermath of septic fields, oil and other toxins is going to be a big problem.

This was reprted on CNN.
CNN showed a hotel swimming pool that is now the temp. home of 3 Dolphins from a local Aquarium.

That story is what convinced me this is going tobe a worst case scenerio of a storm.

Prayers Up!
