I think Shep beat him to it. CNN just showed a picture of I-10 coming north out of New Orleans. It is a jam-packed parking lot.

and He is :) I hope that the media has exaggerated again as they have in the past although I don't have the same feeling about this as I have had in the past...I was in NO at the World's Fair (I believe it was 1984) and they had several days of thunderstorms and I remember seeing parked cars with water up to the windows...no hurricane, just rain storms...
