The crowd is not going to tolerate standing in line for much longer.
I know..now the rain is falling down and they are getting soaked. Can't imagine order will be maintained much longer if they keep standing outside.

The local homeland security director was on earlier and he said everyone and everything must be checked before entering the building. It is crazy.
Checking for weapons, drugs, booze. This IS New Orleans. It is gonna get ugly when the lights and A/C shut off and no one can even smoke. Good thing to check for weapons.
Probably what is taking so long is it is post 9-11 and if a loonie terrorist got in there it could be like 10 or 15 9-11's. Then there are the people that have to scrutinize the people and make sure they don't bring in drugs, alcohol, etc. If these are City or County or State Workers they want to be home with their families instead of at ground zero.
