I need to go do something else besides sitting here at the computer further justifying my concern. Very few people, apparently including a lot of New Orleans residents, seem to appreciate the magnitude of what looks like wholesale destruction of the city within a day and a half from now.
It just makes me sick.
This is the storm we've all worried about and they're not taking it seriously.

Did anyone hear Jim Cantore? Is it me or did he seem more concerned about this storm than he has ever been about a storm?

Doc Frank says that the high is moving slower than expected...Katrina is following it...if the high doesn't speed up, we, especially Galveston needs to watch this closely...12% for Galveston now. He's says ck in the AM, if the high is still moving at the rate of speed it is now...Galveston could be the strike point of Katrina.

If you know anybody there, tell them.
Otherwise, pray. I posted on my blog a request for prayer. That seems to be all one can do unless you are close or know somebody there.
