I never thought much about smashing into a deer on a motorcycle for all the years I spent in my youth running up and down rural roads on one (never over the speed limit, or anything like that, LOL).
Seriously, I think a guardian angel was riding on my shoulder back in those days. I wish this woman a full and speedy recovery.

A deer can mess up a driver if it comes through the windshield. No surprise at the damage it can do to a motorcyclist.

Among hospital Emergency Room personnel (I was once such
a person),motorcycles are routinely referred to as "donorcycles"..meaning that accidents involving
motorcycles so often result in fatal injuries to those
aboard that many a heart/liver/kidney donation results
from these accidents.
