How convenient. Pat Robertson says something about a Venezulean just when $hakedown Je$$e needs another check. Je$$e$ branching out now. He's franchising down to Latin America.

</Yawn> Who cares.

I did not hear Robertson say assassination. Again the press inserts the word assassination, Robertson never said it.He said it. The video is available on the web from multiple places -- http://thepoliticalteen.net/2005/08/23/robertson/ is a conservative source for it.

Did JJ ever comment on Alec Baldwin calling for the stoning of Henry Hyde and his family on the Conan O'Brien show?

Jesse Jackson is a jackass but Robertson did say it... "Robertson said in his Monday television show that if he [Chavez] thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it..."
Close enough. Dumb thing to say but hardly something that needs to be turned into a federal case.
As usual Jesse saw a camera and lost his mind. The most dangerous place in the world is to get between Jesse Jackson, Chuckie Schumer and a camera.

Calling for the assassination of world leaders is inciteful and wildly provocative. So sayeth Jessie Jackass.
Well, I always went against the tide and Jessie, so let me say thus:
Assassinate Chavez.
Then lets's assassinate Bin Laden.
Then we can work on some of the stinking Saudis.
Then we can move on some of the other useless pieces of human excrement, such as Mugabe or Kofi.

Somehow I just don't think it's a good idea for us to tolerate religious leaders calling for assassination of political figures.

Jesse is once again proving he never learned to understand subjunctive mood.

You were aware, of course, that Robertson did not call for Chaves assassination ~ or were you?
This is actually a reading test. Those who understand subjuntive mood (usually found in English in sentences beginning "if" or "when") know that Robertson did not suggest Chaves be assassinated.
Those who slept through Freshman English, as well as their Spanish language classes, don't have a clue and make remarkably ignorant statements as a consequence.

Would that be similar to Baldwin's statement:
"I'm thinking to myself, if we were in other countries, we would all, right now, all of us together, all of us together would go down to Washington and we would stone Henry Hyde to death.""
I don't remember JJ or any of the dems up in arms about that one.
To: Eastbound
Problem is he started with "I am thinking....." which we know was not possible.
The Liberals, though, let it pass because they thought he was serious.
Nothing you can say or do will ever convince me any Liberal can understand subjunctive mood.

Hey, if Robertson didn't say "assassination", what was it he said Chaves was talking about the US wanting?
The word is in there, but it's in an "IF CLAUSE", if you know what I mean!
Don't let the Liberals know there are also Conservatives who don't understand subjunctive mood.

I'll tell you what, include Sharpton and Farrakhan and we'll do them all together! ;)
