British MP George Galloway Announces September Tour of United States to Speak Against War in Iraq

WASHINGTON - August 23 - British MP George Galloway Announces September Tour of United States to Speak Against War in Iraq

George Galloway is Respect party MP for Bethnal Green and Bow in East London. He recently electrified the United States with his appearance at a Senate Permanent Subcommittee on

Investigations hearing on May 17, when he turned the proceedings into a condemnation of the war in Iraq. CNN's Wolf Blitzer described Galloway's speech in the Senate as "a blistering attack on US senators rarely heard" in Washington.

After his speech, the New York Times noted in a July 2 profile, "His House of Commons e-mail box had to be shut down for a spell, after it buckled under the heft of thousands of messages; most came from America, and some were sent by the family members of dead and wounded soldiers."

Galloway's new book is Mr. Galloway Goes to Washington (The New Press) and will be published and timed for national release in bookstores in conjunction with the tour.....

What in hopes that he'll be as successful at appeasing the enemy as Neville Chamberlain was? What a ridiculous loser!

He should be refused a visa. Tell him that we aren't obliged to allow entry to our enemies. This piece of work should be turned around and sent packing.

Galloway should go to Camp Cindy ASAP. He would have legendary status there.

Buy knowing the RINOs, they'll sit and take Galloway's abuse and venom, just like they have taking abuse from Mr. Kennedy and Co.

The only people he will attract are hateful corrupt insane screeches like himself.

The Left Media are going to be seriously challenged to edit his screeching so that it will fit their political agenda and not make the American people sick.

But they will!

I'm gonna be in England starting in September, for a year. I wonder if I should tour Galloway's riding with some glue and some posters of his quotes.

He has already shown he is an enemy of the US, deny him entry.

Hope he goes through the south, he might get a welcome he doesn't want. Red neck a$$ kicking.

I am not a legal scholar, but I believe that the United States is under no obligation to allow Mr. Galloway into this country, regardless of his status as a Member of Parliament. If he insists on this stupid rabblerousing trip, he should be met when the plane lands and detained until another plane departs for Britain.

BTW, I understand that Mr. Galloway represents Bethnal Green and Bow. Could any British Freepers tell me about the demographics of that area? It's been a number of years since I've been in London. I'm guessing that the area Mr. Galloway represents has a high Arab population.

Doubt it would make a difference. He sits in a notoriously leftist Riding, which also has a decent-sized Muslim community. Putting up such posters might make him more popular.

It sucked that the Senators he testified in front of were such a bunch of weak-kneed sissies. It would have been great to see him debate a street-fighter like Rudy Guliani, rather than the prim old maids that inhabit the Senate.

Health warning. The "boys" who run the "fly posting" trade in the east end of London are not well known for their tolerance of competition or for their love and compassion for their fellow man

Very high muslim population (but Asians not arabs - pakistanis and bangladeshis that is) which is why he targeted the seat and why he won it (having ranted on against the WOT for some time).

Aiding and abetting the enemy as usual.

Perhaps some of our side should show up at his book signings, eh?
