Today President Bush, in an unscheduled appearance, stood with Idaho Governor Dirk Kempthorne, and talked with the press in Donnelly, Idaho, fielding questions about Iraq, Israel and Cindy Sheehan. Tomorrow he is scheduled to make a speech to the Idaho National Guard and thank them for their service.

My best advice..........pray without ceasing...........and know that in God's plan, he's as safe in Iraq as he would be at home.
It's hard to get through your head when people are blowing things up over there, but it's true nonetheless.
And before you know it, THIS will be happening, and you'll be fine again......
I'll pray for your, dear friend. It's rough, but God is faithful. You'll get through it.

Awww man! it was hilarious! you should have seen him jumping up and down!

Prayers for you and your family, mtngrl. My 2 nephews, who got back 6 and 4 months ago, were able to keep pretty regular contact with my sister and my brother, which helped a lot. Maybe your son will be able to, also.
Also, congratulations on you and your husband's many years together!

Hi, Snugs! Hope all is going well with you and your dad and mom.
I like that photo, too. President Bush sure looks a lot like his dad in some of today's pictures, but I see his mom in him, too.

Hope the antibiotics make your dad better. Prayers up.
I'm doing well. I've actually been able to do half-days at work, as we're really s-l-o-w right now. Once the doctors at our clinic get back from vacation we'll be back to our usual state of chaos, so I'm taking time off while I can.

I don't think so. I had those many years ago. This started hurting after I fell getting on our Living Flag back in July. My dr. here thinks I did something to the tendon or whatever it is in the upper arm that connects the 2 main muscles. He gave me a cortisone injection last week and that helped for a few days but then it started hurting just as bad as it had before.

Our prayers are with you and your son for his safe return. It's a really difficult time. I think just letting them know they are appreciated for their sacrifices helps them alot. We have 11 adopted soldiers and they are so appreciative of prayers and words of support. Our nephew left for 3rd tour in Iraq in April and has not been discouraged by all the negative press.

He still looks tired for a guy on a "long vacation" as we hear every day from the media. I have long believed he doesn't know what that word means...and it's simply working from a different location in his mind!I agree. The poor somabitch is looking tired, and pissed-off. I don't blame him. He's carrying the World on his shoulders and few other countries care to get involved. I love the man's principles (though I don't like his liberal bent on domestic policies=socialism).
