That is the problem...they take mico-evolution and try to stretch the evidence "a mile" to fit their God-less beliefs.
It's a common misunderstanding that those who believe in evolution necessarily do not believe in God.
You have two huge misconceptions here. First, the majority of Americans who accept evolution are *Christians*, so that shoots down your "atheist conspiracy" excuse. Second, the evidence for "macroevolution" (common descent) is overwhelming, even apart from the evidence of "microevolution", and you are apparently completely unfamiliar with the actual evidence.
