Yo, Vicente baby! Aiding, abetting and encouraging illegal border crossings by your folks is in violation of international treaties. The 'Offenses against the Laws of Nations' clause to be specific.

Now I ask ya. Is that the way to treat a good neighbor?

Isn't it time you started managing your country in a manner that would encourage your folks to stay home? Are they so oppressed in the land of their birth that they are forced to abandon it -- to even risk life and limb to earn a small fistful of dollars in a border country?

Whoa! If they even settle for poverty level here, what could the poverty level possibly be in Mexico? Never mind. I really don't want to know.

Shame! Shame! Shame!

I do believe we will see the day come when Americans will be removed from their homes in TX, AZ and CA by our own troops just like what happened in Gaza this week......sad, sad, sad.

Isn't New Mexico state good enough for them to accept as a gift? I resent that exclusion. ;>

Sorry, pal. You already are.

I'm not sure about Hillary, but I have it on very good insider authority that Richardson is already way ahead on amassing his war chest, and has been looking ahead to New Hampshire for well over a year.

He already has his people in place there, building up his "base".

Why have they not demanded the Vicente Fox government back off of facilitating the crossings and, in effect, the horrendous trade in human lives conducted by coyotes?

Because the POTUS has been playing footsie with Vicente Fox for several years. And Fox has been unambiguous in his support of illegal Mexican immigration to the US. As to why Bush has played along with Fox? I am not sure. But it can't be anything I'd like to hear.

They [conservative voters?]need to let go of their partisan habits.

Perhaps I misunderstand, but are you suggesting that we vote for the poseur lib Demonrats trying to cash in on Bush Administration lameness on this issue? And in throwing the house, senate, and presidency to the Demorats, punish the Republican leadership so they will do better next time. Next time may be another 40 years.

Third party, not Democrats. And I highly doubt that it would happen in large enough numbers to throw all three political domains to the Democrats in a single election (ceratinly not '06, since the Presidency's not up for grabs that year). But if the trend starts to grow, it could start to make the Republicans nervous. As it is currently, they have no incentive to perform.

Did Americans go in and destroy the staging sites?

No. They didn't.

Richardson is going all the way...huh?

I think it is safe to say that Hillary is not disciplined about how to talk to swing voters like Bill is. She cannot compromise her liberal views like he can.

Heavens, what's all the fuss about? The CFR calls them 'trusted travelers'. (Twenty million illegals already here and now half of the remainder of Mexico's hapless population...fifty million...would like to come to the US. This doesn't count the rest of Central and South America, a good many of whom are already here or on their way.) Never mind, all this will be a distant memory when the Happy Hemisphere, open borders crowd get their dearest wish. Free trade, including drugs and terrorism, free travel, with good old Uncle Sam picking up the tab.
