Breaking
Maybe we can all get Karl Rove to visit him in hospital.
May God bless Harry Reid
Prayers for a full recovery. Makes for a catchy new nickname though- "Lightheaded Harry Reid"
May God bless Harry Reid
I, unlike so many here don't wish him well. I don't want him dead, but I do want him gone. I cannot wish well on a man who would drag our country down for the sake of partisan politics. His world view sucks and so does he. Every action this fraud takes is another shovel full of dirt on the grave of our culture and our society. Would there be all these platitudes if it were Michael Moore or Chomsky. He is a punk and a liar and I only feel the slightest amount of pity for him because he is somewhat of a human being.
as in swimming to the bridge.
You mean back strokes?
You are so right. I just flamed him a bit. He makes me sick.
We may be set apart by our faith and compassion but there are those of us out here, heart hardened by the reality of the struggle that will act first when the time comes.
May all his future strokes be on the golf course when he retires.
As a human being, I hope he has a full recovery. But as a democrat, I recall that he said many years ago in a bar that if he ever had a stroke he wished to be starved to death. Calling George's Felos and Greer; calling George's Felos and Greer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Minor correction. Strokes are caused by blood clots or blockage in the brain.
A stroke is more accurately called a cerebral vascular accident (CVA). It may be caused by either an occlusion (embolus) or by hemorrhage (bleed) into the brain tissue. By far, the most common cause is an embolus. Both result in damage to brain tissue.
A CVA is typically determined by the duration of the symptoms. Thus, temporary symptoms of < 24 hours duration are classified as transient ischemic attack (TIA).
best of luck in retirement, Harry.
The events referred to as "strokes" are also, and more accurately, referred to as "cardio vascular accidents" (CVA). Technically they are an interruption of blood flow to the brain, for whatever reason. There are many causes of CVAs, including heart attacks, blood clots and anuerisms. The latter two make up the majority of events referred to as "strokes" as stand alone events. Either the blood flow is blocked in some way or it is cut off by a rupture of the blood vessels.
In either event the brain suffers damage, starting roughtly 2 minutes after the interruption of oxygen.
I drove an ambulance for several years way back when, and my 84 year old mother just died of such an event on June 5th.
I'll miss her.
Living a lie, and constantly having to defend that lie.... will likely cause health problems.....high blood pressure....etc...
"LOL......is it that new Stroke-O-Matic?"
It's the 2004 model, the same exact version used by Hillary Clinton to get a little public sympathy a few months ago....
You could have just NOT clicked on this thread, you know?
More than I wanted to know.
Prayers for a quick recovery.
