"We are involved in a propaganda war that may be more important than what happens on the battlefield."

Agreed! Strongly agreed!
We are fighting left wing propaganda with facts! And we have communication resources now that are going to make sure we win!

In the Land of the Free, news media are not required to demonstrate "patriotism." If that's what you'd prefer, you might be more comfortable in China.

I cant believe the founders could ever envision a press as dastardly as this one when they placed Freedom of the Press in the Constitution. The Democrats are the driving force behind the anti-American anti-war effort, working in concert with the press to destroy the Bush Administration they are destroying the credibility of our country. The Dems are about to crap their pants in their efforts to have a Global government, One which is run by some sort of world power not the United States. The meek will not inherit the earth, they will become enslaved. Is that what the Dems want?

It's not just the media, it's the "entertainment," too.

How can the U.S. win a war when our own media seem so willing to provide propaganda for the other side?

Well, if we actually and formally declared war, mobilized the country for it, ignored the media, and then let our soldiers win on the battlefield (instead of dragging them through military courts at every turn), there soon wouldn't be an enemy left. IMHO.

I think it is quite clear that the American MSM wants the United States to lose this war. That's why they gave so much coverage to Cindy Sheehan trying to drum up support for the anti-war movement, and that's why they are trying to get more propoganda material for Al-Qaeda.

I think the Left would be perfectly fine with millions of Iraqis suffering under a Taliban-style regime and Al Qaeda using Iraq as their next base for attacks against the West if that is what it takes to make our President look bad.

Thanks to the Leftists in this nation, the only people who can speak their minds without fear of reprisal are the Terrorists and their Leftist propagandists.

And this cowardice is wrapped up in a neat little package called "political correctness."

Talk about an oxymoron...

We have to face up to the fact that the enemy has the U.S. on the run, using our own media against us.

I would say that the media is the enemy along with the Islamofacists, and not merely being used by them.

The press groups insist it's all about making sure the Department of Defense obeys the Freedom of Information Act in making the material available. But they have to know the material will be exploited by our enemy and cause more Americans to die. Do they even care?

Yes, they most certainly do care. In fact I would say that that is the very thing they are hoping for.

It doesn't surprise me that the MSM would do anything anti-American.

The Washington Composts uses the excuse they need to keep a bit of separation between the media and the military.

Thats a big bush of BS in my book.

I think some in the media is wearing out it's welcome in the USA.

If we can't trust the media to be patriotic then who can we trust, Kim Jong Ill, Chavez, Casto, Osama bin Laden.

These people in the media act as though their above normal human beings.

They run around with their smug, elitists attitudes and say they are fair in their reporting.

The only time the media is fair to America and it's people is when a bleeding heart give America away liberal is in office.

Mark me down as a liberal media mistruster.

In the thread: "Who owns CNN?"

The Freepers are hard at work digging out facts on the Saudi ownership of the news sources in America.

It does not surprise me that they would sue to release more photos and to cause more trouble.
