LOL. I just heard Brian introduce him and got up to go over to the tv so I could "enjoy his report." I see they arrested someone on our side for refusing to move back to an approved area. Off topic, sort of, I am trying to put together a FReep of the anti-American bus tour when it comes through St. Louis so I'm going to use this post to ask Missouri FReepers who are interested to let me know and also to see if someone can point me to info on their intinerary.
I saw the thread where Mo1 posted the schedule of the upcoming bus tour(s)....how disappointed are the "cindy fans" in America going to be, when she isn't on the actual tour bus stopping in their town? ahhhhhhhh, sniff, sniff.
Anyway...since my husband wouldn't LET me go to Crawford today...I definitely plan on being wherever they stop in this are on their idiotic tour!!!
Good idea about recruiting off this thread today!!! I have read a LOT of posts from members that have been SO disappointed that they couldn't make it today...
Please dear Lord let them come through the heartland. I pity the poor fools if they do.
I just sent this e-mail to various Fox News talk shows. Might I encourage others to do the same:
There are 3,000 people rallying in Crawford, TX right now to support our President and our Troops in Iraq. This is a counter-demonstration to show that Cindy Sheehan and her leftist cohorts don't have a corner on the media market. However, it appears she may have, as no one in the media is giving this rally any coverage, and I have been watching for some time now. In between Hurricane coverage (which is important but doesn't require 100 percent coverage to the exclusion of everything else) could you please give some coverage to the rally taking place this very moment in Crawford, TX (by the stadium). Surely this is doable.
The MSM has given inordinate coverage to Cindy Sheehan, blown way out of proportion to the small band of supporters that she has around her at Camp Casey. Please, Fox, don't let us down. If you won't cover this, then our support for the troops and Bush will go largely un-noticed, and I will be forced to conclude that even Fox, the only allegedly fair and balanced news coverage, isn't. Please give this rally some attention. I don't understand for a minute why it isn't being covered by Fox. I have every expectation it won't be covered by MSNBC or CNN. Please do not disappoint.
Sincerely,
Ordinary Midwesterner and Patriot and Fox News watcher
