As much as I expect to get flamed, a gay male would bother me more than a gay female.

Gay teachers would be fine as long as they kept their sexual orientation to themselves and not broadcast and preach it. My 12 year old grandson had a gay male science teacher. This man not only flaunted the fact that he was gay but he brought his partner to the classroom.
My grandson had enough when the teacher kept getting closer and closer to him. Brushing his cheek with his fingers and stuff. I had my grandson changed from the classroom immediately. But then my grandson suffered the wrath of the liberal mind after that. He got in trouble for everything he did even if it was not really anything.
For example: He and his girlfriend were talking in the hallway at lunch time, the girl slapped him on the butt, he returned the favor. They kicked him out for sexual harrassment.
So, I have to say that if a gay teacher is out of the closet then I would not want them teaching my grand children. If they are in the closet as far as the students are concerned then I have no problem with them at all.

There is no purpose in the classroom for one to be "open" about his or her sexuality. Any teacher who thinks that is important is putting this private behavior before the lesson plan in my view. An adult's habits should not be in any way, a popint of discussion.

I don't think it would matter much, IF the teacher taught the curriculum and left politics out of it. Unfortunately Given the "drive" of the homo-agenda currently, I seriously doubt this could happen and we would have parents having to answer "Dad, what's fisting?" To 6 year olds.

What I think would bother me more was if the gay teacher was the same sex as my child. Gay men are not going to molest female adolescents and lesbians are not going to molest male adolescents. In fact, my cousin used to go out on "dates" with homosexuals when she was in college because she could have fun with them and knew they wouldn't demand that she "put out" at the end of the evening. Of course given current news, I think the same can be true of heterosexual teachers and opposite sex students.

No matter how hard they try, they will never separate their politics from the classroom. No matter how hard they say they try, they will never quit cruising the class for victims.
