Ouch. While I think Madonna is a twit, I know from experience that anybody can get hurt "falling" off a horse. For one thing, it's rarely a fall, but more like being hurled.

Anybody remember that the "world's oldest cowgirl" died last year after being thrown off her horse? She was 99 - or was it 100? - and had been riding all her life. It was her favorite horse, and he simply spooked. It doesn't take much - human beings are much tinier and more fragile than we think.

Oh I know! I used to come off lots when I was young.... most times I wasn't hurt but one time I broke an arm. Last time I fell I was over 30, and the bruises hurt longer than I remember from my youth ;~D

I may be over the hill and dried on the vine but when I see a Dodge Pick Up Man, Cattle Roper or plain old Wrangler Cowboy trotting along on a horse for a split moment the Aroma, Vision and Cool Ocean Breeze blowing through my hair I feel like a young blossom.

MMMMMMMM AHHHHHHHH. (giggle)
