I pass St. Gerald's "faith community" on the way to St. Thomas More Catholic Church {81st and California} for the noon Traditional Latin Mass. I invite you to do the same.

Bless you for doing so. My old man did similiar once, God bless him for it. At a mass in his honor after his death, during the build-up for the first Gulf War, the priest at the Hegewisch parish started making a similiar ass of himself as you described here. It still bothers me that I didn't walk out - would have been a fitting tribute to Dad.

Small world - we attended Calvin Christian Reformed Church at 101st and Central when we lived in Chicago.

My children were baptized at St. Gerald's and we attended there for a number of years. I'm not surprised that Bush-bashing is on the agenda.

From what I can tell, it is at most Catholic Churches in the Archdiocese.

Anyone know of an exception?

My denomination, Christian Church (Discilples of Christ), has been hijacked by the leftists as well. The "Christian Left" is every bit as organized as the "Christian Right".
