My children were baptized at St. Gerald's and we attended there for a number of years. I'm not surprised that Bush-bashing is on the agenda.
From what I can tell, it is at most Catholic Churches in the Archdiocese.
Anyone know of an exception?

In the run-up to Operation Iraqi Freedom, we had a co-pastor (you may know who I'm talking about) who wrote in the church bulletin:
"I do not envy President Bush's dilemma. He faces what some might say is a bit of a Hobson's choice: act agressively now and perhaps spawn future Osama bin Ladens, or act with restraint and be subjected to possible future attacks originating out of Iraq. We do have a right to self-defense, but since September 11th it is much harder to establish clear perimeters of protection. We must proceed with care. We must be vigilant. But we must acknowledge that people definitely would die if we go in to Iraq."
Which I thought was slightly misguided but pretty reasonable - after all, you expect a priest to say, "Kill 'em all, let God sort 'em out." I think the co-pastor is now at a church in CC Hills.
