Didn't we have a SCOTUS ruling many long years ago that "separate but equal" just doesn't cut it? Something to do with discriminating against a "group" of people?

Actually, perhaps we could make a deal with all these A__orifices from the Middle East who profess to be religious - We will keep NOW and the feminists out of their countries if they will keep the terrorists/ISLAMISTs out of ours.

This "gender segregation" is ridiculous, and violates the "separate but equal" ruling of the Supreme Court in Brown v. Board of Education. But remember, just about ALL American colleges, including VA Tech, have separate sports teams for men and women. To put it bluntly, we have "gender segregation" in college sports, and have had it for decades. For whatever reason, having separate "Black" and "White" teams is considered unconstitutional, but having separate "Mens" and "Womens" teams is somehow considered constitutional.

I'm not necessarily advocating the abolition of separate "mens" and "womens" teams at colleges. I'm merely pointing out that such separate teams represent "gender segregation" and appear to violate the principle underlying the Brown decision.
