Yes they would. But for some reason they haven't been able to use it to trace her whereabouts. I imagine the boys threw it away asap. If there were Arubian voices on one of the messages, maybe they discovered her with the phone and discarded it.
I hope the fbi can recover every pic that was ever shot from the memory sticks of VDS digital cameras and all that were in the hard drive......my understanding of the current tech is that even if erased magnetically, ANYTTHING can be recovered from a hard disc, but I'm not sure about the memory sticks for digital cams.

As I recall, it was reported that a voice was heard on the phone message yelling something like, " Get off the phone!" or "Were using my phone?" Something like that......does anyone else remember this? I wish Charles Croes could talk more about the conversation with Joran about a phone call.
