Even Nadia can't stand herself.

Oh, she's sharing the love all right. Are you feeling the love tonight, FReepers?

These pathetic women are certifiable. They desperately need help. They think that all their "supporters" Moveon.org, CodePink, et al) really care about them. They are too disturbed to realize that they are being used in the worst sense possible. What will become of them and whatever family they have left when they are no longer useful to the radical left.

Exactly and you stated it articulately. The last thing a grieving family generally wants to deal with is the press, and when a family actually WANTS the press there, it tells me their agenda is more important than their final moments with their loved one.

"He wanted to protect the homeland from terrorism," said Nadia McCaffrey of Tracy, Calif., Her only child, 34 years old and with a wife and two children, never dreamed he would be sent abroad to fight. "He would never have signed up if he thought that was a possibility," McCaffrey said. "His family was too important to him."

I don't want to be disrespectful but...come on.

If you wanted to protect the homeland but not risk going overseas and separation from family, why not become a police officer? Is ANYONE joining the military surprised to learn they won't be making it home for supper every night?

It's hilarious how they all need to make themselves look like heroic figures. I wish she'd explain how allowing cameras into the funeral or whatever "defied" President Bush. For those who don't know it, the reason cameras were banned by the Pentagon was to protect the FAMILIES. As proof of this, all you have to do is think about it--any family can invite the news cameras to follow their loved one's casket from the wake to the cemetery. It's their choice. Who's stopping them? Answer: No one.

But it got Nadia some time on-camera.

And a chance to tell everyone how wonderful it is to die. --Wait, she wasn't doing that gig then. Or was she?

Why do I suspect that these two will soon be wearing headscarfs and promoting gay marriage initiatives?

There is a third member, Celeste something or other, heard her on Boston talk radio this morning making an ass of herself.

What's interesting to me is this woman had 3, three, Near Death Experiences. Two of them after the first one because she enjoyed it so much. Usually those that have NDE's have less trouble with family members dying because they know that it is okay on the other side and death is nothing to be afraid of. Why won't she let her son rest in peace? After all, he was given what she (3 times!) wanted for herself.

Nadia McCaffrey
Nadia McCaffrey, who now operates a nonprofit grief counseling program and has become a leader in the Northern California antiwar movement, has been a lifelong pacifist and opposed her son's enlistment from the beginning.

It's perfectly clear to me that women like this and Cindy Sheehan should be deciding foreign policy--and not some lying cabal of constitutionally elected representatives.

The sticky scumbag media should leave this poor woman alone. This is sick beyond sick.

What's the media got to do with this? From all indications in the posted item, she contributed her own story to this publication.

One Mother's War - Los Angeles Times

"I am going to Iraq because someone has to do this," she said, her dark eyes flashing.

Now 59, she is an impressive figure who speaks with a slight French accent.

A man in the audience stood slowly and asked: What about your safety?

"I am not afraid," Nadia said in a strong, clear voice. "I am not afraid of dying."

Hilarious.

This is from the LA Times. If they had bothered to even Google this nutbag, they would have seen what a joke her portentious statements are.

Instead they did a puff piece on her. (Which of course they would have done anyway, since she hates this country almost as much as they do.)

The woman is obviously delusional with grief and is being used..why pour salt on the wounds and play into the left's hand? I repeat..this is sick.

BTW, what was her noble mission to Iraq? She distributed more than half a million dollars worth of supplies to the TERRORISTS in Fallouja:

"The group distributed $600,000 in humanitarian aid for victims of American military actions in Fallouja."

Apparently she thinks all of our soldiers are as eager to die as she is.

Sick or not, nobody's rubbing salt in her wounds unless it's she herself. Did you notice where her story is found:

It's right under the link to "Suicide Index".

"The woman is obviously delusional with grief and is being used..why pour salt on the wounds and play into the left's hand? I repeat..this is sick."

I'm confused. Was it playing into the media's hands to point out that Bill Burkett had been institutionalized for mental illness and maybe shouldn't be considered a reliable source for news?

It's the same case here. This woman and Cindy Sheehan are being propped up by the media some moral compasses for our benefit.

For whatever reason they are both clearly incompetent to be giving anyone any kind of advice.

What part of Basic did this knucklehead miss anyway? The desert camo on the 6X6's isn't to hide them from the Cuban Army invading Orlando. Cindy and Nadia it's 10 minutes to Wapner and time for your medication.
