Well, this could be something to watch. Jeanine Pirro, the district attorney for Westchester County in New York, announced today that she is running for the Republican nomination for the Senate. Assuming she wins, that sets up a potential whale-of-a-race between Pirro and Senator Hillary Clinton.
For those of you who haven't seen her, Pirro is a knockout on television. I have interviewed her numerous times, and, in news parlance, she spits sound bites. Always prepared and always insightful, she knows how to play the media like a drum.
A moderate, Pirro has been honing her views in the last 24 hours or so to be a little more user friendly to conservatives. That's to be expected.
Republicans are beside themselves; candidates with this much potential just do not come around that often. But, there is just this one thing: I checked candidate Pirro's new Web site today, and what it doesn't mention is her husband, a guy who has actually done hard time for tax evasion.
Jeanine Pirro has done a remarkable job of distancing herself from her husband's legal problems, but the elephant in the room, sorry for the pun, is Albert Pirro. Funny how these things turn out.
Hillary Clinton's husband has a degree of notoriety himself. And while Clinton haters can't believe she's been elected in New York, those of us who have watched her campaign know she is a force to be reckoned with. Her popularity in the state is soaring, and she is a devilishly hard worker.
If you like politics, this could be fun to watch.
"Jeanine Pirro has done a remarkable job of distancing herself from her husband's legal problems, but the elephant in the room" ---- I guess Hillary has a whole herd in the room.
He could have stopped at "devilish".
In any debate, Jeanine Pirro would blow Hill away. Of course, the MSM would call it a Hill win. Hill's definitely got problems.
Pirro, yet again, underestimated by even the likes of that stooge Harry Smith. Of course, you'll never see any media figure like Harry Smith dredge up any skeletons from Hillary's closet.
If you were an honest writer, Harry, you would have told us if Hillary mentions her husband being impeached and losing his law license on HER web site.
But then, women are supposed to be respected for and rated on their OWN accomplishments, not for riding on their hubby's coat tails, right, Harry, you sexist simpleton?
I hope Pirro tears the Hildabeast a new one.
Pirro is smooth and firm at the same time!!!
Saying "Hey! I checked out her website today, and guess what?....blah-blah-blah" has to be the dumbest thing in Harry Smith's article. It makes him sound like an uninformed journalism flunkie.
Yeh, especially that old skeleton of the origins of Hill's unabated, seething anger.
****
Her fuming anger goes way back to her early childhood when her father gave her a toaster and a radio as bath toys.

"I think for me, the sickest and scariest kind of rage is the Hillary Clinton kind of rage. You know, the perpetual permafrost smile she wears that's hiding a well of fury deeper than Barry White's voice during a bout of pneumonia." -- Dennis Miller
An uninformed DNC flunkie, you mean.
LOL. And what about the rapes and numerous assaults of women?
Depends upon how much has changed since 1984.
Remember Geraldine Ferraro? Allegations of her husband's tax fraud, mafia ties, including renting space to a mafia-run child porn ring, didn't do much to boost her Vice-Presidential aspirations, nor did it help her attempt at reelection. And, it probably undermined her failed attempts to win the Democratic nomination for Senator.
Might be interesting to watch how the New York media plays it up, and how the New York electorate reacts to it.

It will be interesting............ if the vote count is honest.
I've heard of a cat fight.
Is this going to turn out to be a BWitch fight?
Could get interesting.
Just so Shrillery Anotinette de Fosterizer de Marx de Machiavelli de Stalin . . . de Sade
LOSES.
I just think people are bored with Hillary's song. She's always been given votes and credit not for what she's done or who she is, but for being a victim and a symbol (i.e. first First Lady to win for the Senate). Not nearly as many people really like her or think she's all that great as some would have you think.
Hey Jeanine...bet Hillary loves Able Danger and is dying to discuss.
I just have this sense that the Dems are thinking "What have we gotten for all this Clinton loyalty lately?"
Anyone who can blow this witch out of the political waters and gum up her Presidential plans has my support.
