It's gotten SO bad we've decided (and this is our THIRD newfie, but the first time we've had two at a time) to get a canine counselor our vet recommended to come to our home for private lessons for US and the pup. ~sigh~
In my stack of old '78 albums are several with St. Bernard tooth marks through and through. Luckily (or maybe not) we got home before our Vanessa completed the chewing. We saved our Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass and Rolling Stones albums..but Dionne Warwicke was not as fortunate.

I thought it was old age that put me into a second childhood. Training would be wasted on me, it didn't work the first time around.

The cure for a French Poodle, who ate leather and pearls (mine), was a NEW home with 5 kids to give it all the love that it needed, the new home thought it perfect, I have never owned another Poodle....
