Al Qaida Has Deployed Roadside Bombs Laced with Toxins (8/16/05)

Tuesday, August 16, 2005 BAGHDAD — Al Qaida has deployed bombs laced with toxins in an attempt to increase the lethality of attacks in Iraq, coalition military sources said.

On Aug. 9, the U.S.-led coalition found a suspected chemicals factory in Mosul with 1,500 gallons of chemicals.

A statement by the Multi-National Force said the facility was used to develop bombs mixed with toxins. The statement said Sunni insurgents succeeded in employing bombs that contained toxic chemicals....

Okay, the article failed to specify the type and purity levels of the "chemicals." Was it VX, GB SARIN, GD SOMAN or what? This leaves a lot of leeway. I mean it could be CHLORINE which is an irritant or choking agent, but not instantly deadly. This sounds like a bored at work reporter who latched onto something put out by the coalition to give the administration a boost in the polls in light of slippage there. I'm not saying GW put anybody up to this, but the White House is pretty much run by the staff. This sounds like a staff sort of stunt.

I knew that Palestine had used diseased blood and germs to soak the nails that they put in their bombs.

They also used one man, with aids and may have used others.

I find it interesting to see all the Israel first aid people with the gloves on. Yes, I would be wearing gloves too.

LOA Radio, Gunny Bob is talking now of the fact that President Bush has ordered 20 million doses of Smallpox vaccine, plus another order for 60 million.

There is 180 million doses on hand now.

He has a source in the Gov, (possible, as he is ex-military.

Source says that al Qaeda plans a biological attack on the United States, that they are not happy with the effects of the past anthrax attacks so want something stronger.

Also, the Gov thinks that there is a plan to send people sick with smallpox across the borders as illegals, to infect all the people they come into contact with.
