The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

It's hardly a unique fashion statement for a mass transit rider: a Yankees-style cap, and a "New York" sweat shirt.

But the New York Police Department is teaming with British authorities to determine whether those items were worn by suspects in the London terror cases to send a "purposeful message" to the city, according to an NYPD officials.

David Cohen, the NYPD's deputy commissioner of intelligence, raised the concern earlier this week at a security briefing for business leaders at police headquarters in Lower Manhattan.

Thanks I just saw the tape on Al Jazerra. I did see some differences it was close to the other the lighting was differet from the other one. You can tell from the rifle and how the sun is hitting it in the one from Aug 4 and the one today the sun was not hitting it but there appeared to be backlighting whenever he moved it shone on the butt of the rifle in this one. In the other the strap was in the way for the lighting.

Rotting corpses will cause disease outbreaks like we are seeing in N.O. and the surrounding areas.

One newscaster said corpses are being eaten by rats and alligators so the death count will never be accurate.

Home grown terrorism (excerpted):

Not only were the vicious attacks proof of home-grown terrorism in the Western world, but they stand as a terrifying warning of the way that foreign people and ideas can threaten even countries that have welcomed and aided them.

Over and over, stories reiterated how in America, Muslims have so far better integrated.

There was only one problem: Those stories were missing the fact that America suffers violence from outside that is strikingly similar to Europe's with the Islamists. Central American and Mexican gangs are wreaking havoc across America.

They were allowed to come here because of foolhardy American foreign policy decisions, and now they pose at least as serious a problem here as the Islamic terrorists do over there.
