He is trying to mess the waters up here (that is all) - Rumsfeld is the best man in GWB circle - He is a sure fire as$-kicker that has done more to release the dogs of war (especially those within the SOF community) than has anyone else.
Rumsfeld IS solid. Witness his speech at the Los Angeles World Affairs Council just yesterday. He mentions the phrase "War on Terror" five times in the first ten minutes of his speech. Doesn't sound like there's any problem. See his speech on video via c-span.org.
