I'm guessing that they end up not listening to Ms. Nicolosi one bit.
A trash can might be helpful.
How about changing it to focus on the private life of Mohammed?
I'm not even a Christian and I won't pay money to watch Hollywood bash religion for two hours. Watching Hollywood try to fool Christians into thinking this is somehow NOT an error-filled affront to their beliefs is not my idea of fun.
I agree. They'll not get a dime outta me for this movie.
Looking forward to the movie; I know the difference between art and religon; I consider this to be a book and a movie, nothing more.
Roseann Barrrrrr and Mad-ona.....et al.....have a 'thread' on this Harry Potter 'magic'...
The Hidden Gospel of Roseann Barrrrrrrr-rabid....and....
/OFF Area-Codes.....?
;-)
Hey,...go see the movie,....'Cinderella Man"...it's better than ALL of the above!
Makes you wonder how much money they have to lose before they begin to look at what is really wrong?
They have no evidence of any kind regarding the sex life of Jesus.
Its just a freaking book/movie. I have a feeling Christianity is strong enough to sustain this 'attack'.
It shouldn't be Holy Water that is sprinkled on it.
Not dime one from me, either. And I will do my best to remind my Catholic friends that they shouldn't see it either.
They are so clueless. They apparently think that people who saw The Passion just happen to be interested in Religion, so they will make a movie about religion. Idiots.
Have Bob Newhart wake up at the end of the movie, and realize that it was all a dream?
I'm waiting for historically-based fictional, "The Life and Times of Islam", in which Mohammed marries a bunch of times, kills a lot of people, and does a nine year-old girl. Oh, wait . . .
That is clearly the Hollywood view; Christianity is a big hoax and the Catholic Church is a fraud and totally corrupt. Hollywood is hoping that the 'Da Vinci Code' fiction will replace the bibically-based 'The Passion of the Christ' in Christian movie-going but they are going to be mightily surprised when it plays to empty theaters after the first week or two, when the hype is past and all the non-Christians have seen it.
I don't doubt that a Da Vinci Code film may make money (the book was a big best-seller) but nowhere near what Mel Gibson's 'Passion of the Christ' has made. The 'Da Vinci' book slyly mocked the Christian religion with an admittedly fictional but apparently widely accepted story that portrayed biblical scripture as nothing but a fraudulent, man-made justification for establishing a corrupt Church - that was always based on a lie. I have heard the exact same premise used by atheists to 'explain' why they reject God, Christ and the Christian religion.
The 'Da Vinci Code' movie will no doubt appeal to those folks as well as agnostics and gullible, lukewarm 'Christians'. However, it will not appeal to the hundreds of millions who take the bible as God's Word and Jesus Christ as our Savior...and that includes me. So, count me out as ever being any part of an audience for the Da Vinci Code movie.
... Christian dogma, claiming...
Anyone ever read the NYT say Islamic dogma?
This is just anothter christian bashing rant from the NYT.
I sure would like to see "recent" sales figures that keep this work of fiction on the best sellers list. Looks like it is being kept alive for some reason. No paperback version out there yet...Hummm
