Nobody is "generalizing" here. The information I posted about the prognosis the former Israelis gave me about the country was based on a long-running conversation that actually began in 1993.
You "generalize" here all the time. "All religious Jews" = terrorist fanatics, your secular ex-Israeli friends said so.
That's like saying "all working mothers" = leave babies to die in hot cars.
