I assume that your comment was meant to be sarcastic but you are more right than you know. Rotties were bred to (among other things) bait bulls and drive cattle to market. Breeds were developed for specific reasons(jobs). Any breed of dog that is 'working' at the job it is bred for or something close to it is much happier and has a more stable temperment than a bored neglected dog (yes I think many spoiled pampered pets are neglected if the owners do not provide them with meaningful(to the dog) 'work')
