In my opinion, all these searches are a waste of time (although I would be doing the searches if I were Natalee's parents). I stick with my original opinion that Juran had gambling debts and delivered Natalee (drugged) to the beach where she was whisked away to a brothel or someone's residence in Venezuela (or worse) in exchange for clearing his gambling debts.
Hopefully the police are checking the casinos more carefully, but I doubt it. Can you imagine the resulting negative publicity storm that would hit Las Vegas if that type of thing happened there and the media discovered that the casinos were involved (or that gamblers who would do something like this would hang at the casinos)?
Sadly, they will never solve this case and Juran, the Kalpoes and Juran's father will get away will a sickening and horrific crime.

Michael Posner is not an uncommon name so I am leery of thinking the name is that of the Chicago guy.
Could DR know Abel? The SM's have been down on DR for a good while, started with the # of people visiting the SM site. Maybe he is just jealous, but it certainly seems strange if he would trash Tim because he is jealous of another blogger's site. Hard to tell when you don't know him (at least I don't know much about him as I read for info, not his opinions, and have no idea who he is, what he does, etc. and don't really care!)

I think you have the right guy. I wonder what David Schippers (sp? - the old Democrat who was in charge of Clinton's impeachment who wrote a book about his "experiences" after) could tell us about this guy. I believe Schippers' "day job" has to do with investigations of mob figures in Illinois.
As many people read these sites, wouldn't you think it would get back to the powers-that-be what is being postulated here? And that the cyberdiscourse has at least caused a beneficial effect in that regard?
They should realize that this will impact the entire Caribbean, as the journalist Thomas has said. The longer they wait to play their hand, the better the chance that they will be revealed and their cover blown.
I'm thinking more and more that American criminals are involved and that the ALE are actually protecting them as much as any of their Arubans.
If this is indeed true, this one fact alone speaks volumes about some very dirty, underhanded activity going on behind that phony-happy-island image; and most likely P&JvdS, as well as Kx2, are right smack in the middle of what I would guess to be nothing less than criminal activity. They will no doubt keep their mouths shut for the alternative no doubt would find in an early grave.
