T'was 40 years ago today, exactly, that I received my orders sending me to the new 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile) & the 1st Major Battles of the Vietnam War = CLARITY.

T'was 40 years ago yesterday that LBJ announced from the East Room of the White House that he was sending our new experimental 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile) to Battle in Vietnam's Central Highlands.

From nearby Ft. Meade MD I was saying to my TV Screen .."I'm with ya, JOHNSON baby, I'm with ya."

Yes, Sir-eee, the very next day I was definately going all the way with LBJ, just like his 1964 Presidential Campaign Slogan had said.

If upon our return we Vietnam Veterans had had the Internet and http://www.Freerepublic.com at our disposal to fight the deliberate misreporting of the Vietnam War to the American People by the likes of Anti-U.S. Internationalist WALTER CRONKITE...

...a once Free South Vietnam would still be Free today.
