Lori, do you remember the case a couple of years ago when a woman struck a man and his head was stuck in her windshield and she drove home and let him die? Well, I would put this in the same category.

Ted could have saved this girl. There were houses close by where the accident happened, several occupied at the time. He could have walked up the road and called for help. He could have cared less. Yes it was an accident but he let her die.

That woman hit this man, and went out to talk to him while he was dying in her windsheild in her garage. And she PURPOSELY let him die.

This is NOWHERE near the equivalent of driving into a canal, barely escaping with your own life, probably thinking the other person died in the accident and freaking out and running.

There is plenty of insane political rhetoric to attack Ted Kennedy over. Resorting to these kinds of mindless accusations over Chappaquiddic only detract from the real issues.
