I really think he meant something more like a really crude dirty bomb. But that is just as scary in my opinion.

"Iran just executed 2 teenagers (16 and 18 yo)for homosexual practices"

Yeah, they are real tough guys aren't they? There is another country desperately in need of regime change. The Iranians may very well rise up against these fascists and slaughter them like the vermin that they are.

"Our main concern at the moment is an IND -- improvised nuclear device. This is where someone will obtain weapons useable material and fabricate a crude nuclear device -- a nightmare to say the least."

Fabricating the nuclear trigger, typically Po-210 and Berrylium, requires near constant, unlimited access to a working nuclear reactor. Po-210 has a half-life of a mere 140 days.

Plutonium is pyrophoric. Go look it up (if you're going to be posting about atomic bombs, then you need to know that word). You only work with Plutonium in very advanced clean room labs.

I wouldn't be suprised if the company already has a plan in the works. Terrorism and insurgentism is a two way street you know.

You are right, their missiles were blowing up on the pad as recently as the 90s.
They had older missiles that could on a good day get lucky to hit Alaska.

Clinton did repair that by giving China the technology to guide and send missiles anywhere in the USA. That is the reason why for me he is the worst President of all time by far.

This is just a rehash of the story that loony Joseph Farah has been pushing on WorldNutDaily for several weeks now.

It is not nearly as loony as an administration that continues to let 2 million people cross illegally into the U.S. from Mexico every year.

And in case you have your doubts on the lunacy, how about this? The desired tactic of the human smugglers is to instruct people to seek out the border patrol and especially the camps. Knowing the camps are full, they know the people they send there will be released in 24 to 72 hours. Those people are then told where to go once they are released, a point where the smugglers will pick them up and take them on the rest of the journey.

How loony is that? We not only let them in. We help them across the border. I was floored when I saw this described in a Senate hearing I was watching on CSPAN one night. Shocking the stupidity of those that don't think 7 suitcases could not slip in among 2 million people, along with people trained to maintain and use them.

Nothing loony here. Move on. Be happy. Don't worry. It is just some nut pointing out we are are vulnerable, very vulnerable.

"Nope, they had ICBMs with thermonuclear weapons in the early 80s with the range to reach the Continental US"

As another poster has stated, their missles were constantly blowing up on the launch pads back then, and they'd have been lucky to hit even Alaska with one of them. With Bubba Clinton's help, they can now reach just about anywhere in the U.S.

If they do, don't post it here. Loose lips sink ships.

You guys think that terrorists nukes is a nutty idea?

What about these:
Terrorists aim to end western civilization, says ex-Mossad head
RUPERT STEINER/ Scotsman/ July 16, 2005

"We are in the throes of a world war, raging over the entire globe, and characterized by the absence of lines of conflict and an easily identifiable enemy. There are sometimes long pauses between one attack and the next, consequently creating the wrong impression that the battle is all over."

He said the 'great wars' of the 20th century lasted less than this war, and the end was nowhere in sight. "The aim of the enemy is not to defeat western civilization but to destroy its sources of power and existence, and to render it a relic of the past.

"It does not seek a territorial victory or a regime change; it wants to turn western civilization into history and will stop at nothing less than that. http://news.scotsman.com/international.cfm?id=765352005

The threat we won't discuss
Graham Allison, / The Australian/ June 15, 2005

"In the end, US intelligence agencies concluded that Mahmood and Majeed had provided bin Laden with a blueprint for constructing nuclear weapons,"

Allison (founding dean of the Kennedy School of Government). This was the advice the CIA gave President George W. Bush.

When bin Laden discussed the September 11 attack with its chief planner, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, they thought of hitting nuclear facilities but decided to leave the nuclear targets "for now". After the attack, al-Qa'ida's then spokesman, Suleiman Abu Gheith, asserted its right to "kill four million Americans, two million of them children, and to exile twice as many and wound and cripple hundreds of thousands". No prizes for guessing how they intended to kill so many.

Nuclear Terrorism Inevitable
Graham Allison/ July 16, 2005

In NUCLEAR TERRORISM: The Ultimate Preventable Catastrophe, Graham Allison, founding dean of Harvard’s modern John F. Kennedy School of Government, a former top Pentagon official, and one of America’s leading scholars of nuclear strategy and national security, gives us an urgent call to action.

Given the number of capable groups with serious intent, the increasing accessibility of weapons or nuclear materials from which elementary weapons could be constructed, and the countless ways by which terrorists could smuggle a weapon across America’s borders, Allison argues that if the U.S.

and other governments keep doing what we are doing now, a nuclear terrorist attack is inevitable. http://www.nuclearterror.org/about.html

"12th imam Operation" a Multiple Nuclear Attack
by Curt Weldon/ July 16, 2005

Not long after 9/11, Congressman Weldon found himself on the front lines of the War on Terror, enmeshed in international intrigues with spies and killers. He learned about plots to assassinate world figures (including a former U.S. President) and of a plot to kill hundreds of thousands of Americans by radiation poisoning. Ultimately, he would discover a still more audacious plot -- one that is still unfolding.

It's a plan to inflict a terrorist attack on the United States -- an attack of such catastrophic dimensions that it is code-named after Shi'ite Islam's 12th imam: the prophet of doom who ushers in the Islamic apocalypse, rewarding the faithful and, with appalling violence, purging all infidels from the face of the Earth. http://www.falange.us/countdown.htm

An American Hiroshima
By Nicholas D. Kristof/ August 11, 2004

If a 10-kiloton nuclear weapon, a midget even smaller than the one that destroyed Hiroshima, exploded in Times Square, the fireball would reach tens of millions of degrees Fahrenheit.

It would vaporize or destroy the theater district, Madison Square Garden, the Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal and Carnegie Hall (along with me and my building). The blast would partly destroy a much larger area, including the United Nations. On a weekday some 500,000 people would be killed. http://healthandenergy.com/an_american_hiroshima.htm

The Nuclear Fatwa
Author: Abu Shihab El-Kandahari/ 26 December 2002

The coming days will prove that Kaedat el-Jihad [the Al-Qaeda organization] is capable of turning America into a sea of deadly radiation, and this will prove to the world that the end is at hand.... Yes, we will destroy America and its allies, because they have used their power for evil against the weak. http://bobparks.mensnewsdaily.com/blog/parks/

US Vulnerable to Catastrophic Attack
NewsMax/ Thursday, June 23, 2005

Despite the federal government's expensive efforts to prevent terrorists from smuggling a nuclear weapon into the U.S., the nation remains extremely vulnerable to a catastrophic attack, experts have warned a House committee.

The radiation detection systems installed across the U.S. are "quite limited in their capabilities and, in general, are insufficient to the task," said physicist Richard L. Wagner Jr., chairman of the Defense Department task force on preventing a clandestine nuclear attack.

Said Rep. Pascrell: "I am not too hopeful about this situation." http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2005/6/22/153944.shtml

The "SHOCKING STUPINITY" lies with this FREEPERS who are so obsessed with the Southern border, when Islamonazis have long ago come in from Canada and that the Canadian government not only takes in, with open arms, radical Imams, kowtows to them, and now there is a HUGE, thriving group of Islamonazis on our Northern border, which is even ORE wide open than the one we share with Mexico!

But everyone and anyone, with even the most basic knowledge about nukes, knows, YWES KNOWS, that these stories are false. They're nothing but URBAN LEGENDS and Islamonazi pipe dreams.

If they had the nukes, they would have used them!

Nukes have a self life and when not taken care of/maintained, they go PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT; not BOOM.
