Sorry to be so late in acknowledging your comments. Very true, and it is extremely frightening. However, if we agree that the head honchos of World Terror, Inc. "aren't stupid," then they surely know that any attack like 9/11 on America, even if it's "conventional" and non-nuclear, will bring a devastating response.......perhaps along the lines of what poor Tom Tancredo was speculating about.
He was just on Hannity & Colmes in the last hour, and he was at pains to explain that he was "just speculating" on what he might consider doing "to save potentially millions of American lives." I can't say that I disagree, and it may be that Syria, Iran, Egypt and Saudi Arabia have already been put on notice through "back channels," that they must control the radicals whom they are still funding, or suffer catastrophic consequences from America. I have the feeling that one of the reasons for which we haven't been hit again is that such a message has already been delivered.
In that sense, we can perhaps count on the assumption that these loons aren't stupid.

Hi Mary. All I know is he placed his hand on the Bible and swore not only to God, but to the citizens of this great country who elected him to protect and keep us secure. His complete silence on his "Open Border" policy is very disturbing to a majority of his base voters (me included).

I'm concerned about the border situation as well. I don't know what his problem is about sealing them or at least sending more border patrol, etc. and forbidding the border patrol to send them out with a bus ticket to the north! Ridiculous.

No loss is acceptable, but the terrorists do not have any nukes capable of anything larger than a million dead, tops. That is pretty bad in comparison to what a modern nuke could do. They may not even have any nukes at all.
The terrorists aren't idiots....they plan and execute each attack to the finest details, and many terrorists are western-educated who turned against the West after their experiences here. The only Barbara I know who has sometimes filled in on Coast-to-Coast, is Barbara Simpson. She seems pretty level-headed and has her own show here on the weekends (San Fran area, KSFO), which I sometimes catch. So not the same person.
