We are one of those "well meaning" parents.... and I am proud to say that our son's CAT5 scores just arrived.... drum roll.... 90% and 4 PHS (Post High School) scores... oh, he just finished 5th grade.

Excellent! Kudos to you and your fine children. I love hearing reports like this.
When someone tells me they're homeschooling I go out of my way to pat them on the back profusely. I get some pretty strange looks, but I don't think there's much more important to this nation then the next generation. It pleases me immensely to see people do an end run on 'the programmers'.

Isn't that awesome? I homeschool as well and seeing those scores come in and he consistantly scores in the 97th percentile, just blows my mind.
