Presumably the Turks know we didn't do it.
Better Turkey than Boston.
Blah... I have friends in Turkey... this is the latest in a series of bombs that have gone off there over the past several weeks.
these guys are dumb. they're turning everyone egainst them. are they trying to take on the other 3 billion of us (yep).
My bet is on Baptists.
Another FReeper made a very good observation about the bombing in Egypt - he(she?) said that AQ and its minions may be trying to give the impression that anarchy is breaking out.
In other words, stable societies and governments are incapable of protecting their citizens, and it's every man for himself - and hence, easier for the wolves of Islam to pick off.
nothing in google news yet...
Time to request islamists in England and USA to sign loyalty statements or face immediate arrest.
if that is the case, they are signing their own death warrants.
Did Turkey invade Iraq?
European and American leftists have been blaming the invasion of Iraq for 9/11 and the 7/7 London bombings and just about every other actions perpetrated by terrorists. According to nitwits on the left, the islamofascists are perpetrating the attacks because Mr. Bush
and Mr. Blair have "meddled" in Iraq by liberating Iraqi citizens and assisting them in founding a democratic govenment. But...as a matter of fact, Egypt never invaded Iraq - so why did this happen to them?
And why was Bali bombed? That loud thud you just heard was the left's excuse for terrorism collapsing under its own weight.

You think? I was going to guess Menonites.
The flip side is that citizens are free to form vigilante gangs, unrestrained by government and PC considerations. Mosques now are protected by the government. Hurt enough people's families and that protection will fade. It will make for a nightmarish, crime-ridden society, but eventually numbers will prevail.
Wait, Egypt and Turkey opposed the Iraq war...and no terrorism existed before the Iraq war.
Don't forget the JOOOOOOOOOZ.
I hope so.
