I am very encouraged that we have not seen more of an outcry from the Left. I think they are finally realizing that when people start dying, things change. The police put five bullets into this guy because they had a reasonable expectation that he had a bomb. After all, they had him under surveillance and had followed him from his home. That makes a lot of sense to the average Brit.

After two attacks in two weeks, I think the Brits are saying, "Do what you have to do." Still, I am surprised the Left isn't more vocal. Maybe they realize all their arguments evaporated with the 57 people who died two weeks ago.

When you say the left who do you mean by the left don't forget the PM and his government are left wing. If you mean the extreme left like Tony Benn, George Galloway, Clair Short etc they have been vocal in the last few days blaming the Iraq war etc.

It's like after 911. They will crawl into their holes for a while. Then slowly they will emerge, ready to do everything in their power to turn England over to the Muslims.
