dont think i would like to go into combat of any kind armed with a supressed bolt-action weapon, even if it is a .45.

The memo also advises that a bomber could give himself or herself away by ''perspiring profusely, avoiding eye contact, mumbling or chanting'' or by ''wearing clothes that are unsuitable for the time of year,'' such as a coat in summer." How about being an Arab?

That's pretty dang definitive, not to mention authoritative, right there.
The DAery has been noted at a high level, and I don't mean district attorney.
We stand with you guys, Ivan.

Seems like a good way to be able to do a quick "look-see" of a suspected jihadi armory . . .If you are referring to the "threat" at the mosque, I agree. It would work well over here:
FBI- "Out of the way! We have a credible threat against the basement of your mosque!"
Mullah-"No, no, everything is fine in the basement, if there is a threat we will take care of it!"
FBI-"Negative, sir. Stand aside!"
Mullah-"Please, no, all there is Islamic literature and candy for our youth!"
Sound of door being kicked in..
FBI-"Hmmmm. And maps of the subway, homicide belts, and plastique!"
Mullah over his shoulder to henchman, "Quickly, Hamdi! Call the ACLU, we have been profiled!"

"Asian" in the UK implies someone from the sub-continent..i.e. Indian or PAKISTANI. I think a person from China would be either Chinese, or oriental.
Just goes to show. Brits do not know the proper use of the language. ;)

My guess is either SAS or someone trained in CQB technique by them, which could be any of the police anti-terror guys.
There aren't very many actual SAS, but holding a guy down and emptying a clip into his head is quite definitely 100% their style, so my bet is that it was e.g. an Anti-Terrorist Squad or Special Branch officer who was trained by them.

Red Ken is going to be speaking pretty soon. I am very interested in seeing what he has to say.

"Asked if Iraq was a factor in the London attacks, Turki said that "all areas
of grievance" were used as means of recruitment by violent extremist
groups, and that "solving the problems" would hit recruitment. "
I found it odd that Saudi Arabia was so anxious to get the blame on to the al Qaeda, even before London decided who had attempted the last blasts.
Is he worried that "solving the problems" would cause the
jihadi's to stop joining, or that it would cost more money to hire them?
I wish England the best of luck with getting them under control, as two years ago (about) the threats were that it
would be England first and America second.
There is not a country in the world that is not at war with the radical muslims.

He is very much like Galloway. They don't call him Red Ken for nothing.
Just three days ago he blamed the UK and US goverment policies for the attacks in London.

Not all of the islands, no. The British Indian Ocean Territory is comprised of more than a few islands.
