Yep but from what I've read Clinton was guilty of perjury in a civil case while this seems to be moving towards perjury in a criminal case. (there is a difference).

However, perjury (in this case) is a difficult charge to prove. It basically comes down to my word vs your word. If Fitzy ends this the way I think it will end nothing will come of it. Remember he can close the investigation and produce nothing.

I have previously made this blindingly obvious point. Anybody who marries a "covert" agent, like an FSO and especially an ambassador, will be viewed by other intelligence agencies as "connected" and "suspect". It is just plain common sense. This is probably one reason why he left the State Department and she quit going overseas. They are compromised, to say the least.

I have just learned that the memo is real but too many MSM Rat supporters have the facts wrong about the memo and what info came from it. The obstruction charges that have been mentioned is for Miller who is protecting Wilson. This memo was prepared by one of Plames fellow analyst and was sent to Powell as requested. The analyst that sent it told Plame that she was mentioned as the wife of the person sent to Niger, Wilson. Plame then contacted Wilson, who got upset at what he believed was the administration undermining his findings and dragging his wife in it. Wilson then contacted Miller who had been nosing around and advised her that his wife could verify everything he said about what he didn't find and the administration was going to undermine it. Miller knew that Wilson had just committed a crime by releasing to her classified information and contacted another analyst at the CIA, her source, who was also Novak's source, and advised them to tell other sources that Plame recommended, but didn't actually send, her husband Wilson to Niger but try to verify it through Rove. Novak and the analyst spoke and Novak was told that Wilson's wife recommended him but she had approval from the higher ups. This analyst also had other contacts that spoke to Rove before Novak had and they tried to confirm it from Rove but Rove hadn't heard a thing before their calls. Novak then calls and Rove says,"I heard that too".

I really can't say much about how I learned this info but this is a statement from Novak himself that indicates he had sources in the CIA.

The person I learned this from is from the "MSM". He told me that the reason a lot of journalist want the Federal Shield Law passed real quick is because they feel that their source is about to be outed in the CIA and they may end up going down with them. They aren't actually running stories to nail Rove or Libby but to distract and retreat from their original CIA source and hope the Grand Jury's time runs out. They are also worried that their source will rat out other sources in the CIA because about a month before all of this broke Cheney sent Tenet a memo that told him to stop the leaks and anyone that knew of the leaks should tell who it was that was leaking anything. No one came forward and the leaks kept coming out. Now this "memo" may have been a set up to see who in the CIA was leaking info and that's why the President isn't sweating too much. The little "s" by the paragraph with her name was the trap.

He will report it after the other media sources and CIA leaker's get enough rope and really hang themselves or when the SP gives the all clear. Cliff Mays has actually touched on it with his article about David Corn but Corn got the information from Wilson and verified it through the same source at the CIA something Mays "forgets" to tell. Now corn is still trying to pin Rove to protect Russert who also got the info from Wilson and the same CIA source. Corn is playing the distract, confuse and retreat number. The CIA source and these journalist are running all over themselves trying to cover their own butts. This Rove and Libby number is just an attempt to protect their real source and they also feel Rove and Libby have enough backing that they wouldn't get burned anyway even if everyone thought they did something wrong but they forgot one thing, Rove and Libby are smarter than them.

I know what I've been told but if this is such a fantasy land to you then explain Novak's own statement about his source? "Confidential CIA Sources" usually have more than one journalistic contact. If Rove or Libby was Miller's source why is she in jail after a waiver was given for release of confidentiality?
