This latest claim Valerie PLAME'S identity was revealed then leaked in a memo is TWISTED BEYOND BELIEF.
The memo referred to her as VALERIE WILSON
This latest theory that the super secret identity of VALERIE PLAME was LEARNED from a memo then leaked from that memo is BOGUS.
The Washington Post reported Thursday the identity of Valerie Plame -- identified by her married name of Valerie Wilson --

Investigators are also trying to determine whether the gist of the information in the document, including the name of the C.I.A. officer, Valerie Wilson, Mr. Wilson's wife ,

OK. but I am not sure that is enough to say "Rove is not a target" of this GJ. these GJ presentations can be very one sided, I think alot of freepers are projecting their hopes onto what Fitzgerald is doing - and he may not be doing that at all.
Well, you may be correct because the prosecutor told all the witnesses that they were prohibited from speaking about the procedings because they were all potential targets. I think what Rove's lawyer meant was that the investigation had moved beyond Rove.
but Cooper spoke extensively about his testimony.
Yes, he did, and we don't know what he didn't tell us. The prosecutor's order has no teeth. All of a sudden the libs started talking anyway and the prosecutor had nothing to use to enforce his directive.
Cooper getting on all the news shows talking about his testimony was nothing more than code to his real sources, Wilson and probably someone in the CIA, that he didn't talk about them. He knows he can't call them direct because he's afraid of being tagged. He really seemed to emphasize, or it may have just been the MSM, that the first he heard about "Wilson's Wife" was from Rove. Now Wilson and Cooper has really been flooding the airwaves after being told not to talk about it.
sure, but how can he "not talk". that implies he wasn't asked. he has no right not to talk. if he is sending a code to his real sources, what this really means is not that he didn't talk, it means that Fitzgerald didn't ask him. that's why my faith in Fitzgerald is slipping. I really think the best thing that could happen now - is for this whole thing to just close up. I don't think Fitzgerald is going to be able to uncover any real truths in this, Miller is not going to talk. and absent that, I am worried he may just go for some "low hanging fruit" indictment of Rove.
I don't think Fitzgerald could even get the lowest hanging fruit on Rove without answering some other questions about who in the CIA have been talking to reporters.
It was on FOX News, repeated every half hour, the day before Cooper was to testify, as justification for demanding that he appear in person, rather than just accepting the notes from his conversation.
