Terrorist warning elevated in last couple days.

The bus bomb 7/7, people said that the bomber was fiddling with both hands inside his backpack.

Maybe there is a last minute chemical mix that makes the Bombs much more potent. And maybe the Brits employed a device to start sending an EMP or something during prime terrorist times. The Rail station said that the bomber was surprised his backpack went off 15 sec before getting to a train station.

Cause the detonation before they can be more powerful. and before they reach a very populated train station.

Or maybe they just used the wrong internet recipe to make their bombs, which is what I *strongly* suspect is what happened. One of the recipes out there that's pretty common results in modelling clay that smells funny, but won't explode.

An EMP device would have rendered the bomb inert, an RFI device would have been responsible for "premature detonation". However, if the main charge hadn't been defective in some way, the entire bomb would have gone off (just not in an enclosed space where it would do a lot more damage)
