If they pay an extra fee to cover the cost, and the public is not deprived of their regular use, I don't have a problem with it.
However, with the way the rulings of "separation of church and state" are going, I would think this would fit into the irrationality that these people reason with. If the boy scouts can't pay extra to use a government facility, why should these women?

At the pool where I take my water aerobics class, there are classes with Muslim women and this is how they are attired. I don't believe though that they are segregated -- I believe men and women take classes together. Of course, it might all depend on the particular Muslim sect -- some are more conservative than others.

In my opinion, this is rather nice, actually. If they are allowed to rent the pool for a private function from time to time that's fine with me...but as I recall, recently a church was disallowed the same privilege because they wanted to use the pool for baptisms. The city disallowed the rental on the basis that it would be public endorsement of a religion. So what we have are city officials being hypocrites.

This is the United States of America. Women here have rights, they can sunbathe in public wearing two-one inch patches and a couple of tassels if they so desire!
Muslim women ARISE!!! Your Husbands CAN NOT beat you here (you can have them arrested!), your husbands can't chop your heads off (even if you don't use, them, it is still a loss).
Why are Muslims ALLOWED TO OPRESS in this Country? There are laws, after all.

The way to fight them and win on this is via public health argument...that if someone is clothed you cannot see whether they have open sores or other such condition that might threaten their fellow bathers, and therefore it is unsafe to allow them in a public pool.
